The Chosen

I purchased the first 4 Seasons and watched them all twice and saw Season 5 at the theater. I loved them all. They were inspiring and deepened my faith in Jesus.
I have encouraged others to watch them also. Two of my favorite scenes in the series has been the Samaritan woman at the Well with Jesus and the interactions with the children and Jesus. Jonathan, especially, is a great actor. I can't imagine anyone else playing the role of Jesus and having the same impact.. All the actors are so well cast for their roles. Dallas Jenkins and his team have done a remarkable job.

I love seeing the Bible coming to life in a more personal way. There have been many movies made about Jesus and the disciples, but none as human as "The Chosen". Each character has the ability to show how hard is was to really understand what was going to happen. Seeing the warmth of Jesus. We gave our son, who has learning disabilities, a copy of the first 4 seasons.
