The Way of the Chosen is an eight-lesson interactive Bible study for individuals or small groups that works in tandem with each episode of the show. In modeling “the narrow road that leads to life” it includes:
- Forgiving the way Jesus does
- Going when and where He says to go
- Grieving what He grieves
- Standing firm on His words and character
- Delighting in the things that please Him
- Asking because He says to
- Welcoming those He welcomes
- Trusting His will and way
Readers will be challenged to move from knowing who Jesus is to living out their faith by going the way of the Chosen.
Author Bio:
Amanda Jenkins is an author, speaker, and the lead creator of The Chosen’s additional content. Her husband, Dallas Jenkins, son of celebrated Left Behind author Jerry Jenkins, directed and
produced over a dozen feature and short films before creating The Chosen, the largest crowd-funded media project of all time. They currently live in Texas with their four children.
Dr. Douglas S. Huffman, the evangelical biblical consultant for the television series, is Professor of New Testament and Associate Dean of Biblical and Theological Studies at Talbot School of Theology
(Biola University) in California.

I finished Season 3 and have 1 lesson left in Season 4. I'm looking forward to my pre-ordered Season 5 arriving. I went to all 3 sessions at the Theater each day they came out and am looking forward to in-depth Study of 5 also. Thank you for creating these Study Guides - they are so helpful!!
I purchased this study in anticipation for My Bible Study, come. Please know, tho, I’ve barely touched the surface of this particular book.
B/c of your inquiry for a review, and having co-led and studied thru Seasons 1 and 2, here goes:
Our Tuesday Friendship Bible Study managed a study of Season 1 (Spring 2024) AND Season 2 (Autumn 2024), then moved into a study of Esther (Spring 2025), and now back to The Chosen Season 3, come fall, 2025.
I personally love the many options available w/this series of studies of The Chosen. Having the videos of the shows includes all to feel “present” in our group, whether 1st time exposure to The Chosen, or many times viewer (like myself), this study includes ALL those interested, no matter their personal intensity for it.
In perusing thru this book, The Chosen, Season 3, it appears there is more intensity w/entries of “For Bible Nerds like us” ( right up my own alley), and the colorful, vibrant introduction as well as the closure of the very last page, connecting and tying together from Genesis to Revelation, I love this. You just do not know who and how you’ll touch the reader. An added plus is how the writers have implemented both a Prayer Focus AND Sample Prayer at each chapter’s conclusion. It sets the tone, and encourages me.
Obvious to me that Amanda, Dallas and Dr Douglas have their fingers on presenting a comfortable path to understanding, even THE entire Bible, thru this study, in a way one might not find elsewhere. Whether as a group, or individually, I find this to be a wonderful adventure!
It is such a good tool.

I understand now that Jesus has lived through the very same emotions that I have such as grief, trust and delight by coming and living as a man here on earth. His compassion towards Veronica is precious! How inspiring! Thank you for allowing me to get to know him better and grow in my relationship with Him!
