Gorgeous mug, difficult to clean the lid

I love the mug. It's gorgeous and larger than most of my others, so it holds a lot of coffee! However, the lid is very difficult to clean - the sliding bit to cover the spout doesn't come off, so coffee gets trapped underneath. I can sort of flush it out, but it never feels actually clean.
The inside of the mug is easy to clean. The opening is nice and wide, so you can reach in and wipe it out well.

It holds a lot , the cover comes loose easily, it’s just a little too big, but I love it nonetheless!
