I love my new comic book :) I'm so glad I bought it! I actually got to share it with my dad's side of the family while my family was in Wisconsin over the weekend.
The Chosen Vol 1 Graphic Novel has the entire first season from Mary's prologue scene in Episode 1 to the "Trouble" walk in Episode 8.
The artist has modeled the characters to be as like the actors as possible, their facial expressions are as close as they can be outside of a picture, and all the anguish, sorrow, joy, and laughter are captured just as seen in the streaming episodes.
This is a great edition to my library. Having the exclusive edition just means that I have a 'signed' edition, the regular edition of the graphic novel is exactly the same inside. Its a great gift for a young adult who has been avoiding the series via 'The Chosen' app, or on The Chosen website.
I wanted to write a review to give more detail of this. If you grew up reading graphic novels and also love the chosen then i definitely would get this. I ordered a copy and the first thing is the cover is a wrapped cover with art on the front and back, and it has shiny foil details in it. If you collected any comics then you will be familiar with foil covers. Then on the inside it includes a certificate of authenticity that has a foil signature by the art director of the book. Most important is that it is a limited addition to only 10,000 copies and each copy is numbered. This book also covers the entire first season basically, so i am hoping they will continue to make more for the other seasons so we can collect the entire series. The back of the book also has additional content with some art of portraits of the main characters of season 1. So wanted to mention all of that and share how its a really nice book.
